Discover The Jarvis Contracting & Juliette Interiors Partnership

In the traditional world of home construction, there is often a "gap." A designer creates a beautiful 3D rendering, but the contractor says it’s structurally impossible. Or, a contractor builds a sturdy addition, but it feels cold and lacks a cohesive "vibe."

At Jarvis Contracting, we have eliminated that gap through a unique family partnership. Our design-build process is a collaborative synergy between our founder, James, and his wife Ceara, the creative force behind Juliette Interiors.

A Partnership Built on Shared Values

James and Ceara didn't just meet in the industry; they were raised in it. James brings the architectural precision and "old-school" work ethic inherited from his father and grandfather. Ceara brings a lifetime of design passion, having run her own father’s renovation business before specializing in high-end interiors.

Named after their first daughter, Juliette Interiors was founded on the belief that a home should reflect the people who live in it. When you work with Jarvis and Juliette, you aren't just hiring a crew; you are inviting a family of experts to care for your home as much as you do.

What is "Design-Build," and Why Does it Matter?

The design-build model means that your designer and your builder are the same team. Here is why this is a game-changer for your renovation:

One Point of Accountability: There is no finger-pointing. From the first sketch to the final walkthrough, James and Ceara are working in lockstep.

Design for the Real World: Because Ceara works side-by-side with James, every design choice is vetted for structural soundess. We don’t present "impossible" ideas.

Refined Aesthetic Harmony:  Ceara’s eye for "sparking joy" ensures that the home feels warm and lived-in, while James’s architectural background ensures the structure is "exceptionally well-made."

Efficiency: Decisions that usually take weeks of back-and-forth between a designer and a contractor happen over the dinner table (literally).

Creating Calm in the Chaos

As parents themselves, James and Ceara understand the reality of a busy family life. They know that a renovation can be disruptive, which is why they prioritize honesty and hard work. Ceara’s focus is on creating spaces that feel "calm, beautiful, and functional." Whether it’s choosing the right performance fabric for a sofa or designing a mudroom that can handle hockey gear and muddy boots, the goal is always to make the family’s life easier.

Leveraging Complementary Skills

James applies his deep-rooted craftsmanship to ensure the "bones" of the house are perfect, while Ceara leverages her eye for detail to ensure the "soul" of the house is present. Together, they don’t just build houses—they create timeless homes where beauty and durability live in perfect balance.

If you are ready to start your journey from "first sketch to final walkthrough," the Jarvis and Juliette team is ready to welcome you home.
