Danny is an extremely reliable, professional and caring contractor. He makes you feel like your project is his only priority and he really listens to you. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. He completed 2 full bathrooms for us, and they turned out exactly as we had envisioned them. He cleaned up every night and we never felt like we were living in a construction zone. Also - he's just a really nice, fantastic person and became almost like another family member while working at our home. :)

Danny completed the renovation of our basement, which included a bathroom, bedroom, walk in closet and an entertainment area, as well as remodeling our ensuite shower and bathtub/shower in the kids bathroom. 

Not only does everything look amazing and was completed in a timely manner, Danny went above and beyond throughout the whole process. When we had an unexpected leak in the basement, Danny took the time to ensure this problem was solved properly and kept us on our timeline. He checked and double checked to ensure we will not have any issues in the future.

Danny was at the work site every day, which is not something we have experienced in the past with contractors and was involved in the Reno throughout the whole process. He was very hands on and kept us up to date day by day, so we knew what was going on. He provided us support throughout making decisions and was a pleasure to have around during the 5–6-week process.

We are extremely happy with the work completed and will really miss having Danny around!

My husband and I had been thinking about renovating our basement for a couple of years, and thanks to one conversation with a friend at work, I was referred to Danny at 5150 Renovations - and am so happy for it! We were well informed and well taken care of from our first meeting with Danny to talk about our vision for the project, to receiving a quote, to discussing and planning out how the weeks would progress, to the completion of the basement. No question or idea that we presented was turned away - Danny considered each and every one and provided thoughtful advice and feedback. He kept his teams on schedule each week and let me know ahead of time about days that may be noisy (as I was working from home throughout the whole reno). He also made sure that we knew the budget and timing for picking things out like our flooring, tiles, paint colours, etc., which also helped to keep the whole project on track. We love the finished product - it has opened up a lot more living space within our home, and I'm sure we will be hanging out downstairs for years to come as a family. I would definitely recommend Danny and his crew to anyone considering a renovation project!

Finding Danny was like winning a lottery! Especially after having had some not so positive experiences with contractors in the past. He is a pleasure to work with, punctual, courteous, leaves the area clean, has great suggestions and ideas, patient with our ideas and changes. He helped us finish our basement and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Every day he was here bright and early, he kept us informed of every stage of the project. He is priced well and is considerate of the budget but will also ensure that good quality products are used and no corners are cut. I simply cannot say enough about how amazing working with him has been. If there were more stars to give, he would get it! Not only is he great at renovating and building beautiful spaces, he was great with our entire family! Kids couldn't wait to see him every morning and even our dog loves him. Just an amazing person to work with and generally a great human being!

Danny Marocco is an outstanding General Contractor. Our Laundry Room renovation/update was completed within budget and on time. Very punctual. His design and technical offerings/suggestions were just what we had envisioned. He is an extremely patient, caring listener, and can interpret what the client is envisioning! Noise and dust were minimal. His trades and suppliers are top notch and very reasonable. Danny does all the sourcing and suggestions and never proceeds without consultation. Daily updates are given. Such a pleasure to work with this contractor. He is the best at what he does and his rates are very reasonable. He is a true professional. We are extremely pleased to have found Danny Marocco and will be using him for all our future projects going forward.

Danny is a very organized contractor who genuinely put our interests first and acted on behalf of our interests. He had the patience to explain everything to us, and he was a great problem solver too. Danny was also the tidiest contractor we've seen, always leaving the site clean and safe. He has great working relationships with other people like electricians and material vendors, but he also works very well with any vendors we brought to him. He was also true to his words when he said that he won't charge beyond the quote we initially agreed upon, so I'm happy to recommend Danny!

From the moment we first met with Danny for a consultation, my husband and I knew right away he was the best person for our basement renovation. He came so prepared for our meeting with drawings and a couple of samples. He went over the minor details and explained all the little things that he looks at before the job is done. He is beyond professional and we just knew we could trust him to do an excellent job. We were not disappointed. Danny did everything to the letter. He was diligent and oversaw the whole project. His trades were professional, timely and clean. The cleanliness was something I very much appreciated with two young kids at home. Danny treated our house like it was his and that is hard to find with contractors nowadays. He was fair and transparent with his pricing (no hidden fees anywhere) and always found ways to offer even more value for the money. The basement turned out better than we expected and it was basically done in 5 weeks! I have already spread the word to family and friends about Danny and I would continue to do so in the future. You can't put a price on trust and accountability and Danny is 10 stars in my opinion on that front as well as the quality of the work done in our basement. I will edit this post to include pictures once we organize our stuff down there! Thank you Danny for turning this daunting project into an enjoyable one. It's been great having you as part of the "family" for 5 weeks!

My husband and I wanted to finish our basement and create a space that allowed us to get the most functionality out of another living area. We met with Danny to discuss our needs and expressed our desire to build a place that could be used as an entertainment/home theater area, a fitness area, and a separate soundproof music room/studio. Danny gave us an up front, no nonsense quote and included all of the scope of the job. We went ahead and we are thrilled with the results! The various tradespeople that came into our home to work were as professional and clean as Danny was. All debris was removed, and careful care taken to disrupt the rest of the house the least amount as possible. There was an unanticipated schedule change when one of the workers experienced a death in the family, and Danny managed to keep the project on schedule and it was still completed on time. His ability to manage the project and stay "on schedule" was awesome and was really helpful to us as a family with a busy set of commitments. There were no surprise costs that are often a part of hiring a contractor who is not as good at budgeting and forecasting as Danny at 5150 is. Any extra costs were a result of additions we created or added after the initial quote. Now that the project is all done, it looks amazing, and we have received many compliments on the space. The music room is one worthy of rock star praise - literally! - and the fitness area has turned the heads of many friends and their acquaintances. If you need a contractor who is professional, honest, affordable, and lows their stuff, 5150 Renovations is who you call. No matter how big or small the job is, Danny makes sure it's done right and that the customer is happy. My family couldn't be happier with the work and we are so happy that we chose 5150 to take care of us! Danny might get even busier now that our friends and family have seen the finished product. Do yourself a favour and call 5150 without hesitation. I've lived through countless renovations - both large scale and simple makeovers - and this was by far the least stressful out of all of them.

Danny from 5150 Renovations came to our home to give us a quote on a basement Reno that had already been started by another contractor that we fired. We had a great feeling from Danny and his quote seemed fair ... Not high and not low. Danny and his guys came to work as scheduled ... If he says they will be there ... They are, and on time. We were renovating a full bath, laundry room, hallway and the stairwell also. There were some glitches along the way (not the fault of 5150), Danny worked patiently to help us find solutions. If we weren't happy with something Danny fixed it. Everything turned out amazing and we are very pleased with Danny and his crew! I'd recommend Danny, and 5150 Renovations without hesitation!

I have been using this company since 2012 for several projects including 2 bathroom renovations, French doors, chair railing, deck upgrade, eaves trough and a feature wall. I am sure I have forgotten something. Danny Marocco, the owner is involved every step of the way and keeps his client's informed of timelines and any additional costs that may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or changes in design. There are no surprises. He is one of the most professional people I have ever done business with. He is the real deal. His prices are very competitive. Actually with this company you get much more for your money than just the renovation!
